So a few months ago I discovered a pretty nice space sim called Pioneer http://pioneerspacesim.net/#&panel1-3 (the game is free) and I found that it uses very user friendly and simple autopilot system but with realistic approach to space flight. (You can fly manually too of course). You can choose a celestial body an tell autopilot to for example - enter low orbit, high orbit or fly to vicinity of the selected body. You can view your transfer and orbit on the map, plus 'square tunnel' on the hud. The ship is moving using pretty realistic Newtonian mechanics I think. My question is - I know that SpaceEngineer is planning some sort of navigation system fo our ships in Space Engine, will it be something similar?

Hi mordin86, yes Space Engineer has similar plans for SE. It is going to take some time for him to code all this however as he is the only programmer of SE. Also this info can be found here and some additional info here. Aslo this could have been posted here.
