I had the version 0.94 in my PC, and it didn't work well, because my computer, in theory, is not prepared for gaming, and also I have never formatted the disc, but when I tested it in my brother's computer (that is quite better than mine) It worked with some problems but it was playable, and I was fascinated when I saw that clouds in 3d Now I have got the 0.95 version -and I must say you have done a very good work in optimisation, because it works also in my crappy computer-, and when I test it in my brother's computer, the clouds are only a flat texture with no random meshes (as the land ones). So there's the question: Is it a problem with my configuration, or you removed it because it affected too much the performance?

Clouds in SE never were 3D. Maybe in 0.94 the cloud mesh had bigger height displacement on some planets - I've reduced it, because it has visual artifacts. Don't worry about looking at flat clouds over a short distance, in later versions they will be blended out and replaced with 3D clouds.
Well, I think I didin't express correctly. I didn't see 3d particles of clouds or something similar. When I said 3d I mean they weren't flat, they were rough like the landscape.

Here are some truly lovely real-time rendered 3d clouds. I guess this is way over the top of what you are planning Vladimir, maybe it can serve as a kind of inspiration to your mind or programming ideas?
Includes beautiful light-shafts as well... see here:
Sorry. I started the old version again and attepted to have a screenshot, but I couldn't find the planet where I saw the clouds (because it doesn't happen in every planet).
