Possibly a bug you fixed in the version you are using?

Yes. T dwarfs don't generate in the latest patch, but SpaceEngineer fixed it.

I haven't tested anything of the new S.E. 0.9.7.4 because I know my mind will be blown apart once it's released.

Speaking of spectral subclasses... How about adding the additional luminosity subclasses and marginals?

For example: Betelgeuse, M1-M2 Ia-Iab
Or a procedural example: O7.4 Ib-IIa

M5 IIIab

K0 IV-V

G8 IIIb

B0.5 V-IV

G2.5 II-III

Etc... etc... And maybe change the subdwarfs from luminosity class ''VI'' to sd and esd (for extreme subdwarfs).
Like M8 V or sdM8 and esdM8. Just a suggestion though... Keep going Vladimir biggrin

Look at the acceleration in the information tab.

Also, when i take a screenshot without GUI, the orbits, marker and labels showed up in the screenshot, is that a bug?

Those cool new upgrades to cool star rendering are pretty cool.

Would it be anywhere near accurate for the hotter brown dwarfs to somehow combine the look of gas-giant bands and stellar convection cells?

This is uncertanity or variability. Both are not supperted yet.

Already did that.

It's not a bug. They are not parts of GUI, but parts of the scene.

Maybe not in theis version. I also want to make them realistic, but didn't find any scientific article about numerical modelling of the BD surface.

I have one question , Does every type of brown drawfs have decimal subclasses ? Because I would love to see a 9.9 Y-Drawf.

Beautiful! Small, non-development related question: what exactly prevents auroras from forming on the poles of an ordinary star? The fact that said star has plasma, rather than gas, on it's surface?

Perhaps magnetically-energized glowing plasma does gather around the poles, but since the whole thing is glowing like, well, the Sun, you can't see them.

Great job EngineerSpace! I meant these auroras!
will be implemented in the simulator?
Maybe changing the algorithm generate can transform in polar jets of pulsars!

Sorry for my English! ;)
