| I like to think about the future of Space Engine. The skies of remote worlds
One day, maybe with this kind of realism
I thinked this was the best place to fit this.

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) This is my global TODO list for SpaceEngine ...
...
Planets: .... Illumination of planets with globular clusters, galactic core, close nebulae, supernovae
Imagine you are on a planet near the center of a globular cluster. Having the night sky illuminated by the light of the cluster must be something like the sky during a sun's total eclipse.
Hope this feature is implemented within this year .... We will see ....

the universe is made to be explored, but no one will ever visit it all

| DiscovererOfWorlds, please do not put text and images on the same line in the future. It breaks the forum layout.

| DiscovererOfWorlds, because I edited the post to fix it already. I'm just saying not to do that in the future.

| I noticed it said something about giant alien astroengineering constructions, I hope these can be disabled, if I interpreted it right you are saying huge alien structures appearing on the planets? That would ruin a screenshot
NASA spends .5% of the national budget answering humanity's greatest questions while the IRS spends 41% of that on government expenditures causing more problems than it can fix.

They won't be on every single planet, and will probably even be pretty rare. If you ask me however, I think they would be great for screenshots.
Tonight... you.

| Quote If you ask me however, I think they would be great for screenshots. I see how it could be used for some cool screens. But my reasoning is say you find a super awesome crater on a super awesome planet that you want to screenshot, but then when it loads up there is a massive alien tower inside of it and you don't want that there
Here is a picture of said super awesome crater

| I second the idea for making alien buildings toggleable, for the "sandbox" version of SE at least. If SpaceEngineer fulfills his idea of making an MMO out of it then making them disappear would just be silly xD

| That would be a great idea making an MMO. Kinda similar to No Mans Sky on PS4, he should make it so that you can discover the planets for yourself and claim them. While at the same time the planets you find first instantly have a base when captured while you need to eradicate another players base to get his planet, good idea?
Or it could make each player passive so they can go on an exploration party and have voice chat, oh the future of this game is so bright!

Just an FYI for 'Procedural life' & 'Procedural civilizations' that are currently labelled "Not Sure if possible"
You may want to look into 'No Mans Sky' to see how they create there procedurally generated life and eco-systems. It definitely looks like it could be doable

| Quote JJake101 ( ) You may want to look into 'No Mans Sky' to see how they create there procedurally generated life and eco-systems. In my opinion it's too much unrealistic, SE aims to be realistic and we can not know how alien species are, neither how much they're common or anything else.
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
