I'm guessing that it forces catalog stars into binaries, but I'm just asking what it's supposed to do and I wonder if it's contributing to the problem here: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/4-1005-1
Also, I wasn't sure if I should post this in the technical questions and support thread since it is a question about the config, but its not a support question, so I posted here. So if it needs to be moved, okay.
Look on the upper left of the page, there's a white text box for inputting search parameters. Type in "StarProcBifurcation" and hit enter, or press the search button. Open the first result. There is your answer.
You should always do this before creating a new thread.
All star systems in SE have a chance of being generated as multiple-star systems unless otherwise specified. This includes catalog systems. This config parameter allows that generation capability to be suppressed for catalog systems.

It usually shows up in forum searches (on other forums), but that wasn't my reason for not doing a search.
Anyways, turning it off since it may be contributing to the procedural planets not loading problem, and like it was mentioned on tose threads, it's making binary stars oit of catalog stars which aren't binaries.
