| Talisman, interesting series I notice you don't know how to close the Solar system browser. Just press F2 again, there no reason to exit to main menu to close it.

Thanks! And yes haha, I do know how to close it with F2, I think I accidentally did that in one or a two of the episodes.

| Why do you don't use the internal video capture system with the Frame Time timing mode? It allows to make a smooth wideo without lags caused by textures generation.

It lags for me when recording a LOT, I get no lag using fraps, and I find it very hard to put all the individual frames together correctly and edit and cut parts of the video. I don't know why it doesn't work well for me.
Are there any other texture generation settings that are better to use for recording though? What are the pro's and cons of each of the ones (Asymetric etc)

If you record a LOT, Then download MSI Afterburner and use the built-in video recorder at 60% MJPG compression for files sizes 1/3 of Fraps while still having decent quality.

Ah, my mistake, I appreciate the correction. For some reason I thought space engine labeled the star types differently.
I'm glad you like the series, I should get around to making another episode here soon.

| Why didn't you do a seamless video? Due to SE crash?

I did, I just cut the parts together to save a lot of time, like when I was clicking the stars it took me like 20 stars before I found one so I just skipped to when I found one with a planet with life.

| You could show in your movies another method of searching for life - with the Map mode. Zoom out to a system until a few nearest stars appear, then click them in course until system with life gets found. This will be system with life nearest to current star. With this method you may avoid clicking on far blue giants that usually has no life.
