Thank you soo much

What visual mods/settings do you use? I'd love to take pictures as good as this but I just use the stock engine, and I'd really like some realistic, yet still pretty mods/texturepacks and whatever you use seems to be perfect for what I want.

Along with fezes and bowties, brown dwarves are cool.

This is the list of things I have or I do (not much and extremely basic as all of you can see):

- Toty's ultra amazing Color Palette
- Rodrigo's terrain Color Distortion Mod
- I have downloaded much of the Voekoevaka's galaxies and nebulas but I don't use them too much

- Always put the galaxy ambient light to 4.600-4.700
- When I make the pic, I toggle those skyboox, ect... things on Galaxies and Nebulas
- I nearly always work with a FOV between 10 and 25 degrees
- I normally increase the number of stars visible by magnitude to get more or less starry skies
- To make different size shots I make a lot of screenshots and then paste them atomatically with Microsoft ICE (it's free)
- I don't know what else to say, maybe try many angles and original points of view and search a lot because even with all of this I have to fly into 30 systems to get something good looking in some place

- For the locations I choose zones of the galaxy that are cleared so the dust sprites can be seen in all his majesty and I search a lot galaxies with beautifull colors from the inside (like blue or something)

And I search many times for nebulaes because I like them a lot to get amazing sights and colorfull landscapes

I also like a lot to land on the terminators of the planets (there is a beautifull contrast in the landscape when the stars are on the horizon). I like deserts (maybe because my drive can't handle Selenas and Ice worlds without getting horrible bugs all the time) with tenuous athmospheres (so I can see the spectacular skies) and gas/ice giants (the Toty's color palette is amazing for giants smile ). And one thing I always do when I search for asteroids; I only take pictures of those that are bigger than 70 km because all the others look quite unrealistic to me and the surface is always to boring.

And that's all the secret for me. Pretty normal what I do. Any suggestions to improve my screen shots? I love this program and make pictures of the objects.

Thanks! I will have a look at all the things you mentioned, just one more thing, any significant FPS drop? I have a 2year old computer, it isn't half bad, but SE on it's own runs at ~5FPS on it, will installing those mods make it drop 1 or 2 frames?

hahahahaha, my SE also runs like 2 or 5 fps xD is horrible I know. I think the mods I donwloaded didn't get the computer slower in any case smile

Those moons... blink

Is that a modded system or procedural? Because that is amazing.
