Yeah I had that thought randomly after wandering on procedural terras, saying that sometimes they look more natural than real ones ...
Boom, now I have procedural clouds on Earth !
Just replace Earth's "Clouds" part on SolarSys.sc with these lines (backup is the commented stuff) :
Code
    // Clouds
  // {
   // DiffMap        "Earth/Clouds"
   // DiffTileSize    514
   // DiffTileBorder  1
   // BumpMap      "Earth/Clouds-Bump"
   // BumpTileSize    514
   // BumpTileBorder  1
   // BumpHeight      6.0
   // BumpOffset      0.0
   // Exposure        1.1
   // DayAmbient      3.0
   // Lommel          0.2
   // Height          9.0 //3.5
   // Velocity        0.0 // km/h
  // }

  Clouds
  {
   Height          5.842773
   BumpHeight      6.029501
   DayAmbient      2

Toty, those planets look amazing! What shaders do you use? Can we have them?

Yeah, sure.

You can edit the shader itself in the ingame editor. Change the "venusMagn" and "venusFreq" parameters. This is ideal in Oceanias.

Oh sorry I forgot your comment ^^

It's a combination of new palettes, atmosphere models, shaders, ingame editor and changes in brightness, magnitude and exposure.

"twistZones" and "twistMagn" are the parameters to tweak on the Clouds properties to reproduce that, and apparently that's the only thing you modified in your tg_common.glsl ...

Select a planet, press escape and click edit.
It works with stars, too.
